Tackling Sleeplessness Series

This is part two of a three part series of meditative techniques in our Tackling Sleeplessness series.

Sometimes the mind at bedtime is just too busy, it wants to think about things and plan what is happening tomorrow. Inviting the mind to become distracted through some light mindful body movements and a focused body scan can give a busy mind just enough to do, without being too stimulating, to allow sleep to come.

Here we have some pointers on how to meditate, plus some of our other guided meditations available.

Meditation practice, and this technique, can produce unwanted effects in people who might be more sensitive. We encourage anyone who is unsure about practising this technique to seek appropriate professional support before experimenting with this.
