If social media is anything to go by, everyone seems to be living their best life. Right? It is so easy to get pulled in by social media to comparing and measuring our own achievements against other people. Additionally, when things don’t work out the way we hoped, similar resentments can build up. Taking a few moments to pause, and mentally wish others well in their successes, can be a release for those feelings building up.

Meditation practice can produce unwanted effects in people who might be more sensitive. We encourage anyone who is unsure about practising meditative techniques to seek appropriate professional support before experimenting with meditation.
