Developing healthy habits in order to achieve a goal takes time, discipline and commitment. Occasionally focusing on what we are losing in exchange for a new habit can get in the way of our progress. By developing a healthy approach to new habit forming, by thinking of a new habit as something we gain rather than something benign being lost, we can improve our chances of sticking to our goals.
Here we have some pointers on how to meditate, plus some of our other guided meditations available.
Meditation practice can produce unwanted effects in people who might be more sensitive. We encourage anyone who is unsure about practising meditative techniques to seek appropriate professional support before experimenting with meditation.
