Knowing when to stick to your guns, or knowing what you can say “no” to is an important skill when setting personal or professional boundaries. For many people, this is not easy when we feel that giving too much of ourselves is what is expected, and saying no can lead to those uncomfortable feelings of guilt. Giving yourself permission to own your path, and giving yourself permission to resist being pulled in different directions, can start with increasing your inner strength.

Meditation practice can produce unwanted effects in people who might be more sensitive. We encourage anyone who is unsure about practising meditative techniques to seek appropriate professional support before experimenting with meditation.
