A journaling process provides an opportunity to express experiences, thoughts and emotions through the written word. The trick is often knowing what to write, how to structure those thoughts or experiences. Especially if they are weighed down by emotion. It can be useful to use a journaling prompt as a guide in order to enhance, or bring to the front, self-reflection in order to process experiences, thoughts and emotions in a safe way.
You’ll need a pen and journal for this walk-through, but you can substitute this for any technology of your choice.
