Before Getting Started With Herbal Teas
Herbal remedies have long been used as a natural way to promote wellbeing. If you plan to make herbal remedies and herbal teas a regular part of your wellness routine, as ever please do consult your regular doctor before you start.
This is super important if you are currently taking medications, including contraceptives, as some herbs can interfere with your safe use of certain medicines.
It is essential to only use of herbs that have been properly licenced, and validated as safe. This is because you need to know what you’re consuming by way of side effects and allergy information. We only use food grade ingredients when making herbal remedies.
Do Herbal Remedies Work?
Most scientists agree that more evidence is needed for the efficacy of herbal remedies, but some studies suggest that certain herbs and spices can have various health related benefits.
When we use herbal remedies, we are choosing to embrace the long history of their use rather than their scientifically proven efficacy. As well as the rather magickal feelings that come with brewing up a wonderful tea made of herbs and spices.
