Lenormand cards for Personal Development

The world of self-discovery and personal growth is constantly evolving, with new techniques and tools being introduced all the time. One such tool we like to use is Lenormand cards in combination with neurolinguistic programming (NLP) and humanistic counselling techniques.

At its core, Lenormand card reading for us is a therapeutic experience that aims to guide individuals through their personal difficulties and help them grow on a spiritual level. The cards are not used to predict the future, but rather to gain a deeper understanding of one’s current situation and the potential paths that lie ahead, so that choices can be made about next steps.

Lets try this with a quick three card spread.

Have a look at the image before you, which row of cards do you feel an intuitive pull towards?

Read your Lenormand Card spread

Below you will find a reading based on the cards we pulled, and what your intuition was guiding you towards. Choose from either the Top Row or the Bottom Row to reveal your reading.

TOP ROW

Bouquet + Fish + Moon. The combination of these three cards can indicate that money might be consuming a lot of your thoughts at the moment, to the point of distraction or daydreaming one might say. Is there something about an investment, financial gift or even a pay award settlement or wages, that might be feeling a bit emotional right now? This situation may have gone your way, or not, it might be worth exploring why you are feeling this way about your finances, or about who is involved in your financial situation, in order to plan what to do next.

BOTTOM ROW

Mountain + Fox + Clouds. The combination of these three cards can indicate that you’re probably trying to work through challenges on your own. Is it fairly typical for you to working on your own to overcome difficulties? Or are you trying to keep something a lot more to yourself than is usual for you? Ask yourself if this time you are feeling a bit icky about working through this on your own? Check whether you need to be quite so cautious around this challenge? Even if you normally prefer to work through some stuff on your own, just check in with yourself that this is actually helping or if, on this occasion, this going to lead to misunderstandings. Having a healthy appreciation of your own motivations in this situation can only be a good thing!

Lenormand Cards for Personal Development

This was just an example of a very quick three card spread, where instead of predicting a future it instead reflects intuition back. When using Lenormand in this way, the Reader and the Querent have a two way conversation about the cards in order to find the issue at hand, and the Reader then works to ask additional questions in order for the Querant to seek their own answers from within.

Whether you are facing challenges, seeking direction, or simply looking to deepen your understanding of yourself, a Lenormand card reading can be a valuable and enlightening experience. So let us dive into the world of Lenormand cards and discover the limitless potential they hold for our personal development.

Change rarely happens in a straight line. Sometimes it looks like greater confidence or a clearer sense of who you are. Sometimes it means questioning an old way of working, leading or relating to other people. The Humanistic Magick Weekly explores what it means to create meaningful, lasting change across personal growth, purposeful work and empathic leadership. Drawing on psychology, coaching, NLP and hypnotherapy alongside reflective and symbolic practises such as meditation and tarot, it brings together ideas for understanding where you are, recognising the change already taking place and finding greater agency over what comes next.
