Looking to the past can be a helpful way to gather information about the present. How we view ourselves, our self esteem and our self worth could have been formed in our childhoods. Understanding how far our interpretations of events and assumptions we make as children has formed our adult lives is the first step to challenging any beliefs that are holding us back today.
Meditation practice, and this technique, can produce unwanted effects in people who might be more sensitive. We encourage anyone who is unsure about practising this technique to seek appropriate professional support before experimenting with this.
